It is there for having a chance of visibility between the big players, and to be able to use the same tools, such as special sales by genre, or a list of games by genre in the collective.\nIf you are a small indie developer, feel free to join! You can send us an email but already work on adding your game here! All games are in the /games folder in their own folder, you are free to create your own page if you are familiar with Hugo (with the Blowfish theme) or you can use the Python tool to create a standard page from your Steam page. If your game is not on Steam, you will need to create the page yourself.\nWhat is the cost of joining us: fully free! But feel free to give a tip on Kofi, it would be a great encouragement :)\nWhat do we take from the sale of your games: nothing! You still are the sole owner of your game and your sales goes fully to you (well, aside what the shop takes).\nWhen can you leave: whenever you want! We are here to give you visibility. If you think you don\u0026rsquo;t need us anymore, feel free to leave. Just send us an email so you can update the site (we can also keep your game there if you prefer).\nWhy am I doing that: 2 reasons:\nI am also an small indie dev and I am really bad at modern marketing. And I have seen how difficult it is to get any visibility being alone.\nI am also a gamer, and I like a lot of indie game from very small studios. Many new ideas and great crafting comes from handcrafted games. Some of these games that I really enjoyed were most probably huge flops (though not as much as mine :) ), and that means that many of this great indies devs have to leave the industry\u0026hellip; I would really like to see that change. A 3rd non personal reason would be the death of the true indie scene: many of the successful indie games are nowadays a product of bigger studios, or small studios with big publishers, or small studios with good connections. For studios we have a tool to generate the page, it needs your wanted name and a description for your studio and a list of Steam game ID. Friends will often be studio too, so will use the same tool.\nFor services and content creator, the best is probably a link (could be to a YT channel, a LinkTree, \u0026hellip;), a name and a description. But feel free to give something else.\nIf you can and want to use GitHub, you can do a local clone, add your content and to a pull request. Studios are added in subfolders of content/studios, services in subfolders of content/services, content creatots in subfolders of content/content_creators and friends in subfolders of content/friends.\nTo add your content:\nif you are familiar with Hugo, feel free to add a custom content.\nif you are a studio with game on Steam, a python tool is provided in the folder createPageFromSteam: Your data will be in the your_page_infos folder:\nauthor_infos.json contain your studio information, but don\u0026rsquo;t change the name of the avatar. You can replace the avatar with your png, but keep the name. If you want a jpg instead, you will have to copy it later in /assets, and change the name in your studio json in /data/authors. The name of the json is the name you provided for your studio (in the info_and_list_of_games.txt file, see next). info_and_list_of_games.txt contains the name of your studio in the first line, then the name of the folder to store the page (in /content/games/, it can be copied to /content/friends/ or /content/services/ afterwards), then the ID of your games, one ID per line. Once you have filled the information, simply run createPageFromSteam.py. It needs some libraries which are detailed in requirements.txt\notherwise, it is best to see the existing pages in /content/content_creators or /content/services/ afterwards or /content/friends/ to create your. For instance, to create a new page as a content_creators, if there is one existing folder \u0026ldquo;one_streamer\u0026rdquo;, copy the full folder. Now inside the folder you should change the feature image (which need to start by \u0026ldquo;feature\u0026rdquo; and can be a jpg or a png) or at least remove it, then edit the index.md file. The index.md file start with general information, then with some content. If an externalUrl is given, the page will not be shown and clicking on the thumbnail in the top page will go to the given url.\nYou can see the resulting webpage by installing and running Hugo. Otherwise I will check it myself.
